System Engineers (IT Security)

 

Responsibilities:

  • Resolve security, system and network problems.
  • Provide advice on system / database performance monitoring and tuning.
  • Test and implement the OS upgrades/patches.
  • Make an assessment on the System Upgrade / Change Proposal and submit a proposal to Project Manager for review before submitting to Authority for approval.
  • The proposal will detail the impact analysis of the change of the existing System environment such as system performance, integration, system availability etc.
  • Test and implement the changes to the System according to the requirements of the System Upgrade / Change Proposal.
  • Prepare/ update relevant documentation to reflect changes made to the System.
  • Peform 2nd level of support for any related security, system and network problem.
  • Server installation and configuration like application server, Active Directory and Domian Controller.
  • Security implementation like OS hardening, IPSec and Firewall on system.
  • System administrator of Microsoft server, SQL server, network security.
     

 

Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
  • Required skill(s): microsoft server 2008 installation / configuration, microsoft windows 7 installation / configuration, microsoft active directory / security management, WMWare Installation / Configuration / Management, MS SQL Server, TCP/IP, Citrix Installation / Configuration / Management.
  • At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Preferably Senior Executives specializing in IT/Computer - Network/System/Database Admin or equivalent.
